01What we collect

Account data: your email address, name, and authentication credentials when you register or sign in (including via Google).

Newsletter data: your email address and the page you subscribed from when you join the CryptoNerd newsletter.

Usage data: pages viewed, features used, session duration, and device/browser information, collected via first-party analytics and Google Analytics.

Payment data: when you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your full card number.

Optional data you provide: watchlists, alerts, portfolio holdings, wallet addresses you choose to track, and feedback you submit.

02How we use it

To operate the platform: authenticate you, deliver signals and research, run alerts, and manage your subscription.

To communicate: send transactional emails (account, billing, trial status) and, if you opt in, the newsletter and product updates.

To improve the product: aggregated usage analytics help us understand which features matter.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

03Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run CryptoNerd: Base44 (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Beehiiv (newsletter delivery), Google (authentication and analytics), and Telegram (optional alert delivery). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Market data shown on the platform comes from public blockchain data and third-party data providers; it is not tied to your personal information.

04Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme and dismissed prompts. Analytics cookies help us measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

05Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data at any time from your account page, or by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

06Data retention and security

We retain account data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07Children

CryptoNerd is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

08Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform or by email.
